Missing Daddy
My grandson took a photo with his step-father before he was deployed to Afghanistan this past December. It was their last family vacation together, just before Christmas, and they were visiting my husband and I at our home in Nashville. I wanted a family portrait and sent them off to Walmart for a professional shoot. My son-in-law left Dec 26th and Gavyn misses him terribly. One morning when my daughter went in to wake him up for breakfast she found him sleeping with this picture. I think it speaks volumes - Gavyn represents alot of little boys and girls waiting to see their mommies and daddies again.
