Teething
MY 12 MONTH OLD DAUGHTER IS STARTING TO GET HER BACK & SIDE TEETH , THE UPPER LEFT FRONT SIDE OF HER GUM IS KIND OF LIKE A BRUISE BUT ITS NOT PURPLEISH OR BLUE ITS A DARK BLACK.....HAS ANYBODY EVER SEEN?? THIS PLEASE HELP!
I've seen this before on my baby, and while it looks scary, it could be something called an eruption hematoma. That link will give you more information on the topic. It's a common condition and is generally harmless. If it doesn't look like that, a quick visit to your pediatrician or a pediatric dentist can help ease any worries you might have, too.
my daughter is 3 months and is already teething and i saw in a magizine that i can put juice in a pacifer but how do i do that someone help me
There are pacifiers that are designed to administer a dose of liquid medication. These pacifiers have a hollow area inside them to pour a dose of medication in, and then baby sucks on the pacifier and swallows the medicine.
While these pacifiers can be used to give your baby Tylenol to help with the pain of teething, using one to give baby juice is not recommended unless your pediatrician has approved it. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends not giving a baby juice until the baby is six months old . If your baby is uncomfortable from teething, call your pediatrician to ask about giving her Tylenol or baby Orajel.
