Roasted Italian Herb Chicken

Herb Chicken

First marinated in Italian salad dressing, chicken bakes in herbed stuffing crumbs for plenty of flavor with a minimum of fuss.

Yield:4 servings
Ingredients
 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
2 cups Italian-style salad dressing
1 cup Italian-style dried bread crumbs
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Place chicken breasts in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour salad dressing over chicken. Cover dish and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  3. Roll each chicken piece in stuffing crumbs. Return to baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.

Do you bake this in the Italian dressing that you marinated it in, or do you dump the dressing ?

This was simple, I would never have thought of it. I had guests last night and needed something that would cook while we visited. It was not only easy, but very, VERY good. Everyone enjoyed it and I'll be making it again. Thanks
