Girls night out is so important. Again, I have handicapped girls, so getting out for some adult time is so vital. I get together with my gal pals on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month, and my husband gets the 1st and 3rd. We are able to get together with friends and just have adult conversations and do something fun, without the "kids". This helps me to maintain my sanity and also gives the girls a time to really bond with their dad.
I attend a girls night out gathering once a month. It's made up of a group of moms, and we take turns planning the gathering each month. It's a lifesaver.
My gal pals and I have recently started this tradition. It is wonderful! We get together on the last Friday of every month and order out food, sometimes watch a movie, or just chat chat chat. It has been so nice to get out and not be known as "Mommy" or a domestic goddess. I love my kiddos and hubby with all my heart, but to be able to get out once in a while and socialize with other adults about things other than diapers, homework or your husband's work is such a relief in itself. All I can say is "Thank goodness for girlfriends...thank goodness for Fridays." :)
my girlfriends and i do this about once a month. We, as mothers need time to unwind.sometimes we forget that we need time apart from mommying and keeping the family together. Going out with the girls keeps my stress levels down!!!!
I've been meaning to take a moms night out for MONTHS. I just can't seem to get it on the calendar. Mostly it's because the baby is nursing and won't take a bottle, so it's not such an easy thing for my husband, who ends up dealing with a screaming baby for most of the time I'm gone.
