Easiest casserole in the WORLD is Green Bean Casserole. My mother used to make it when I was a kid, and I still make it today. You can usually find the recipe on the side of the French's Fried Onions tin. Take two cans of french-cut green beens, mix in one can of cream of mushroom soup (as-is, don't add water). Add some salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly, then put in a casserole dish (you could just mix it all in the casserole dish). Then put it in a pre-heated oven at about 350 for about 40-50 minutes. Pull out, cover liberally with French's Fried Onions, and return to the oven for 5-10 minutes (until lightly browned on top). Remove and serve. Really easy to make and tastes great!

I love this too!! I wonder why we ONLY have it during the holidays? Those onions are on the shelves year round... go figure!

My mom used to make this dish that we simply called Sausage Casserole. It's not a favorite of my wife and kids, but man we loved it growing up. Will have to dig up the recipe.

  I love this too!! I wonder why we ONLY have it during the holidays? Those onions are on the shelves year round... go figure!

It's funny because we only have it for holidays as well. Occasionally I'll make it to go with something else, like Chicken in Pastry Cups, but that's rare.
