They've got the cover of
Rolling Stone,
an assortment of love-proclaiming tees at
tween-tailer Libby Lu, and, now, a slew of Teen Choice Awards
surfboards from Monday's show. The brothers Jonas racked up

So, over the weekend, I popped into my local Barnes &
Noble to find hordes of teenage girls eagerly awaiting the
midnight release of Stephenie Myers
Breaking Dawn, the fourth book in her
Twilight series. The teenage fans of the series wore
shirts proclaiming their love for the vampire, Edward, and lined
up to pose prom-photo style with the new book
cover.

So, it
almost takes all the fun out of it: I've already
read about the big winners at tonight's Teen
Choice Awards,
airing tonight on Fox at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The show was held
over the weekend at L.A.'s Gibson Amphitheater and photos and

I attended the Disney/Pixar preview panel and got to get sneak peeks of both Bolt, coming out on November 21 and of Up, the new Pixar release for 2009.

I have to say, it's quite delicious to be able to buy or
rent a whole season of a favorite television show and watch it at
my own pace: No commercials. I can rewind to see something again
and I can watch the entire season in a few nights or one day or
one month -- none of that waiting between episodes. (I suppose
the same thing is possible with a DVR, but you don't get the
pretty, pretty boxes.)
