Aching back. Sore feet. The start of a blister.

Book Expo of America was fantastic! No, really, despite the assortment of ailments we returned with, wow! Anyone who calls themselves a book lover would find this event heavenly. The aching back and sore feet are results of carrying around totebags filled to bursting with book catalogs, book-related goodies and, yes, full-on copies of books that haven't even hit stores yet.

Sigh. If only every day was BEA day.

We just saw Dreamworks' latest movie, " Kung Fu Panda," and now we have a prediction:

Kids nationwide are going to be filling up martial arts classes.

Karate, judo, and the film's kung fu will all see a surge of students bent on becoming the next Dragon Warrior.

Guess Where We're Going Tonight?

How'd you spend your long weekend?

Us? We saw " Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" ... um, pretty much twice. Once on Thursday (yes, it was hookey, but office-sanctioned hookey -- we love our jobs!) And once more on Saturday.

Our verdict? While we still put " Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark" at the top of our Indy list, we'd have to say this one is a near-tie… Read More
