As for what to read, well, the options are limitless, given the wealth of new stuff on the way or already on shelves. But then, an author like Neil Gaiman makes a book recommendation, and you can't help but really want to dive right in.

Aching back. Sore feet. The start of a blister.

Book Expo of America was fantastic! No, really, despite the assortment of ailments we returned with, wow! Anyone who calls themselves a book lover would find this event heavenly. The aching back and sore feet are results of carrying around totebags filled to bursting with book catalogs, book-related goodies and, yes, full-on copies of books that haven't even hit stores yet.

Sigh. If only every day was BEA day.

We just saw Dreamworks' latest movie, " Kung Fu Panda," and now we have a prediction:

Kids nationwide are going to be filling up martial arts classes.

Karate, judo, and the film's kung fu will all see a surge of students bent on becoming the next Dragon Warrior.

Guess Where We're Going Tonight?

Yes, we're headed to the press screening of "Kung Fu Panda" tonight. In IMAX.

How'd you spend your long weekend?

Us? We saw " Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" ... um, pretty much twice. Once on Thursday (yes, it was hookey, but office-sanctioned hookey -- we love our jobs!) And once more on Saturday.

Our verdict? While we still put " Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark" at the top of our Indy list, we'd have to say this one is a near-tie… Read More
