I found this helpful Thank You! Your vote will be tallied soon!

Will Sharpay come back for "HSM 4"? Fingers crossed!

Go Wildcats, indeed.

Today yielded some big news for your young "High School Musical" fans: Just as cameras started rolling on "High School Musical 3," Disney confirmed that it's already planning "High School Musical 4."

Is that enough to get your little Wildcats to burst into song?

Here's what we know about the future movies:

  1. "High School Musical 3," though originally said to be a Halloween-themed "haunted high school" flick, now will be about senior year, with Troy (Zac Efron) and Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens) worried about being separated once they go to college. The movie, which will be shown at theaters, will be released on Oct. 24.
  2. "High School Musical 4" just entered the script stage. The cast kids know and love might not be back in its entirety but the Disney Channel hopes that at least some of the stars stay on board. We have our fingers crossed that Sharpay (Ashley Tisdale) will return as the most fabulous school play director ev-ah!
  3. "High School Musical 4" is likely to be aired on the Disney Channel, not at theaters.
  4. We're super excited for both flicks.
Now a few questions for the comments: Are your kids anxious for the next "HSM" movie in October? Do you think your kids might grow out of "High School Musical"? What would your family like to see happen in a fourth movie?
