B Sur Ur Kids No U Hav A Lif!

Posted March 03, 2008

For you non-textors, that would translate to "Be sure your kids know you have a life". I have written a piece, which covers this very topic, for a new book that will be coming out this summer. I'm not sure if I'm at liberty at this point to reveal the title of the book, so I won't do that here, but if I discover that I am, I'll

Recently, after owning the same van for 92 years , we caved to commercialism and purchased a new one. Well, a new one to us, that is. The last one, we purchased brand, spanking new, and of course, when you're going to own a van for - - 92 years ...well, we came out way ahead on that one. This makes me feel bad, which in turn makes me a little grouchy, which in turn… Read More

I am pretty picky about what movies Teen in Line (age 13) can see. Quite possibly more so than many other parents, particularly regarding sexually suggestive material. I don't want her desensitized to sex at such a young age. I am especially against sex scenes between people who are not married. Call me old fashioned, but I am trying to keep my girls young a little while longer.

For help in determining whether or not my 13 year old can… Read More
