Teenage Gas Pumping Blues

Posted July 17, 2007
Teenagers and pumping gas don't mix -- at least in my limited experience thus far. Princess in Waiting and I were headed to Costco to get the bare essentials. You know the type of trip: 80 packages of fruit snacks, 60 frozen hamburger patties, 10 pounds of frozen chicken, 4 pounds of butter, the 12-pack box of Orbit, and the ever-so-important , not-to-be-overlooked 50 gallon drum size fountain soda. Hey, nickel difference. What would you do?!

In case you missed my first post on our trip to get the Learner's Permit, click here . It's been a journey...

But the look - - Lord, that look. This child is going to break hearts with that look. She will raise grades with that look. She'll wrap her Daddy around her little finger with that look. She'll get into the college of her

I do believe that it… Read More

Soaking in a few rays, taking a spin on the lake, getting in some skiing and tubing. It's really a great time. But WOW- all that relaxation on the water - it can really take it out of you! And the last thing you want to do… Read More

Recently, I had the pleasure of attending a convention with almost entirely women attendees. Now, I know what you might be thinking. "All women? But women can be so catty. So whiney. So negative"...Nope! We had a blast!

No kids. No husbands. No housework to be done. No one spitting up on us or asking to be taken hither and yon at every conceivable hour of the day. No one asking what's for dinner. No soccer. No softball. No last-minute trips… Read More
